Elena brings 8 years of experience in the field of Special Education, having taught students from Pre-K through 9th grade. Passionate about helping each child grow in their own unique way, she finds joy in being part of her students’ learning journey—and in the growth she experiences alongside them.
Her classroom philosophy is centered on creating a space where every learner feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Elena’s own experience on the autism spectrum gives her a unique perspective and deeper understanding of the challenges some of her students face, which enriches her ability to connect and support them in meaningful ways.
Outside of the classroom, Elena’s favorite color is pink, and she’s a big fan of iced caramel coffee. She is a proud pet mom to three cats (though she’ll never pass up the chance to pet a dog!), and enjoys reading, watching Criminal Minds, playing board games, and spending time with her family.
